Day 2 of the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2026 AOFC Qualifications has concluded, and we now know the three teams that have qualified for the U19 World Championships in Italy: Singapore, Australia, and Japan!
Singapore and Australia both secured their spots after winning one match each and playing to a thrilling 2-2 draw that could have gone either way. Japan, aware that they needed a victory to qualify, delivered an impressive performance with a commanding 9-3 win over New Zealand, ensuring their place on the flight to Italy in May!
This will mark Japan’s debut at the U19 World Floorball Championships, while Singapore and Australia are back on the world stage again. Singapore will participate in back-to-back Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships, having made a remarkable debut in Lahti in 2024, where they finished 11th. Meanwhile, Australia qualify for their third consecutive U19 World Floorball Championships, where they finished 15th in both tournaments.
