The IFF Ethics Commission (ETC) strongly condemns any kind of unacceptable and disturbing messages like the one that was sent via Facebook Direct Messages to an IFF-accredited coach from the United States at the World Floorball Championships 2025 in the Czech Republic.
The ETC condemns such messages, which violate § 1. „Dignity and Equality“ of the IFF Code of Ethics, are against fair sportsmanship and destroy the atmosphere in sport.
National federations are urged to take all possible measures to prevent insulting and/or hate messages, protect athletes, coaches and all members of the Floorball family and preserve/create a culture of fairness, tolerance and non-discrimination in the sport of Floorball.
