Singapore qualify for WFC 2026!

Singapore have finished top of their group in the AOFC Qualification tournament and have qualified for the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2026 in Tampere, Finland.

So far, two teams have qualified for WFC 2026 – Thailand and Singapore. There are two further spots remaining for the AOFC teams and these will be decided tomorrow, with the winners of the quarterfinals going through to the WFC 2026.

Singapore won three matches and drew one in the group stage of the AOFC Qualification tournament. Their most intense match was against the Philippines, which ended in 7-7 draw. In their last group stage match against the Solomon Islands, Singapore scored 31 goals and conceded 3, bringing their goal difference to 46 goals for.

Singapore missed out on the 2024 World Championships in Malmö, Sweden and they must be pleased to be back. Their last placement in the WFC was 16th in 2022.

The play-offs for 9th and 7th place will be played tomorrow, and we’ll also find out the final two teams qualifying for the WFC 2026.
