The group ballot for the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2026 will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Nokia Arena in Tampere. The ballot will begin at 12:00 local time (11:00 CET) and it can be followed live on the IFF App.
Sixteen countries will participate in the 2026 World Floorball Championships to be played in Tampere, Finland this December, and they will be drawn into four preliminary groups. The following countries will participate in the group draw: the Philippines, Japan, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Estonia, and the United States/Canada.
The United States and Canada are participating in the draw conditionally. The WFC Qualification event between the countries will be played on March 19–21, 2026.

John Liljelund, Secretary General, International Floorball Federation
Katriina Saarinen, long-time former player for the Finnish women’s national team
Jaakko Mustakallio, Deputy Mayor of Tampere and Chair of the Major Events Working Group
Juuso Laamanen, Vice Chair of the Finnish Floorball Federation
Representatives from the local organising committee and from the Finnish, Swedish and Swiss teams will also be present.
