The next World Championships played in the beautiful city of Tampere, Finland in 5–13 December 2026, will bring together the world’s best national teams for nine days of world-class floorball. Fans can look forward to an action-packed event week filled with top level matchups across three arenas. The group stage will be played at legendary Hakametsä Ice Hall and Kauppi Sports Center while matches from the quarter-finals onwards will take place at Nokia Arena.
In Group A special attention is on host nation Finland
In Group A special attention will naturally be on host nation Finland, whose schedule already offers plenty of highlights from the very start. Finland opens its tournament against Switzerland on Saturday 5 December, faces Norway on Finland’s Independence Day and closes out the group stage against Latvia. In addition, the matchups between Switzerland, Latvia and Norway make Group A a balanced and intriguing group, where every point could prove crucial in the battle for qualification and final standings.
There is plenty to follow elsewhere in the group stage. Group B, for example, features several exciting clashes right from the start, including Germany vs Czechia, Slovakia vs Sweden and Sweden vs Czechia. The opening days of the tournament already promise high-quality international matchups and a strong competitive edge.

The schedule gives the tournament week a strong rhythm from start to finish. After the group stage that begins on the 5th of December, the stakes rise quickly as the quarterfinals will be played on 10–11 of December, the semi-finals on 12 December and the medal matches on 13 December at Nokia Arena.
The publication of the official schedule marks another major milestone on the road to the home World Championships. Fans can now begin planning their tournament week and pick out the matches they do not want to miss, whether their focus is on the group stage, international top clashes or the medal weekend in Tampere.
Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday 22 April at 9:00 EEST / 8:00 CET and will be available via Lippu.fi. Final weekend ticket packages are already on sale and almost sold out!
