Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2027 EUR2 Qualification officially kicks off. Running from 8th to 12th September, six nations will battle it out over five intense days of action for a coveted ticket to the final round in Riga, Latvia, next February.
Host nation Estonia leads a highly competitive field alongside Austria, Great Britain, Hungary, Slovenia, and Ukraine. With the tournament format offering no room for error, every single match will carry massive weight:
- Direct Qualification: The overall group winner will secure automatic qualification straight to the final round in Riga.
- The Second-Chance Comparison: The team finishing in second place will have their record compared against Spain (the runners-up from the EUR1 event) to determine who claims the final remaining qualification spot.
The Estonian team shows a strong sense of unity and team spirit. Our players have a good technical level and that gives us the opportunity to play against the top 10 teams in the world. Our goal for the WFCQ EUR2 2027 is to win against the top teams to qualify for the U19 WFC 2027.

An experienced player who knows how to use his experience to his advantage. He is fast, strong and dangerous with a powerful and accurate shot.
Skillful Player – #5 Luka Stepanyuk
A player who is extremely difficult to stop. His ball control is outstanding, and he can create scoring chances out of almost nothing. Luka plays with great confidence and is always ready to take responsibility.

The Austrian Men’s U19 National Team enters the 2026 World Championship Qualification with confidence, ambition and a clear objective: to qualify for the U19 World Floorball Championships. This generation is considered one of the strongest Austria has developed in recent years. The squad combines talented players from Austria’s domestic youth leagues with athletes who are gaining valuable experience abroad. Several players compete in Switzerland, while others have developed through Swedish floorball environments, bringing additional speed, tactical awareness and international experience into the team.
A major strength of this squad is its balance. The team features technically skilled forwards, disciplined defenders and reliable goalkeepers who have been working together throughout the campaign. Many players have already competed in high-level. More importantly, this team has developed a strong identity. The players are committed, hardworking and proud to represent Austria. They understand that success at international level is built on discipline, teamwork and the willingness to improve every day. Austria respects every opponent but travels to the qualification tournament with genuine belief. The goal is clear: compete with courage, play modern and aggressive floorball, and earn a place at the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships.

The Great Britain U19 Floorball team is a young, ambitious squad built on teamwork, and resilience. Our players come from diverse backgrounds and playing styles, giving us adaptability and creativity on court. At World Championships qualifiers, expect high energy, disciplined defence, and a team determined to challenge every opponent and keep improving.
Rookie/Young Player – Great Britain is a young and determined squad with almost all making their debut to international arena. Look out for #14 Ossian Tibbert-Wykvliet and #29 Arthur Pollhammer at 14 and 15 yrs matching themselves against the 18 year olds.
Strongest Defender – #8 Theodore Eriksson
Nothing rattles him, and that calmness rubs off on everyone around him. He reads the game better than anyone and he’ll spot the danger early and cuts it out before it turns into anything.
Skillful Player – #27 Elliott Skinner
He’s got a real drive about him, he works for everything, and it’s usually him who ends up with the goal. The ball sticks to his blade like it’s glued there, and even when he’s got two players on him he keeps hold of it.
