Czechia showed no mercy in their Group B clash against Canada, recording a commanding 16–0 victory in front of 854 spectators. The tone was set early, with Michaela Kubeckova and Vanessa Rebecca Keprtova finding the net within the opening 46 seconds.
From there, the Czech attack flowed relentlessly. Sarka Stankova, Pavlina Bacova, Michaela Mechlova, and Karolina Klubalova all added their names to the scoresheet and Keprtova scored her second goal to close the first period at 7–0.
The second period brought more of the same: Klubalova completed her hat trick, and Kubeckova and Stankova netted again and Linda Fuchsova scored her first goal in the game. Further goals from Nela Jirakova, Anna Bruchackova and Nikola Stekerova pushed the score to 15–0 by the 28th minute.

Juuso Ahola was the standout with 7 goals and 3 assists, while Joona Rantala (3 goals, 1 assist) and Sami Johansson (2 goals, 5 assists) orchestrated wave after wave of attack. Canada’s lone goal came from Steven Friedli in the third period, assisted by goalkeeper Krystof Kasha, who was named their player of the match.
With clinical finishing, relentless pressure, and contributions from across the roster, Finland signaled their strong intentions for the tournament.

Adam Delong (6 goals, 5 assists) and Marek Benes (5 goals, 3 assists) spearheaded a balanced offense that saw 13 different scorers. Filip Langer added 4 goals and 5 assists, while Ondrej Nemecek contributed a hat-trick from defense.
China battled to the end but struggled against Czechia’s speed, precision, and depth. The result sends a strong signal of intent from the European side as they aim for the knockout stages.

Veera Kauppi (4 goals, 2 assists) and Milla Nordlund (4 goals, 1 assist) led the charge, while Ulla Valtola scored a hat-trick and assisted one goal and Daniela Westerlund scored two goals. Finland’s depth was on full display, with 10 different scorers and two power-play conversions.
Singapore fought hard but were unable to match Finland’s pace, precision, and physicality. The win puts Finland firmly in contention at the top of Group B.
