Canada secure the last ticket to the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2026 as they win all three games against USA during the AMER Qualification event.

The AMER qualification event took place in Georgetown, Texas from Thursday to Saturday as USA and Canada met three times to decide which team will qualify for the WFC 2026 in Tampere, Finland this December. Canada secured their spot in Tampere already on Friday after two wins. They won the first game clearly 13-1 and the second match 8-2. They also started the third game convincingly, leading 5-1 after first 20 minutes. Altough Team USA fought well, Canada took the third match home too, final score being 6-11. This means that Canada continue their successful WFC-streak while USA have to miss out on another edition of the Men’s World Floorball Championships.

WFC 2026 will be played from 5th – 13th December in Tampere, Finland. As per the group ballot that was held earlier this month, Canada will be placed in Group D alongside Japan, the Philippines, and Denmark.
