
First semi-finals in the 2026 Champions Cup have been played. Thorengruppen won the first match against Pixbo and 1. SC VÃtkovice celebrated a win against Tatran StÅ™eÅ¡ovice.
Thorengruppen IBK v Pixbo IBK

The first semi-final of the 2026 Champions Cup saw a thrilling encounter between Swedish rivals Thorengruppen and Pixbo. The match kicked off with both teams eager to establish dominance. Thorengruppen struck first in the early minutes, with Cajsa Alm finding the back of the net at 2:58, assisted by Moa Johansson. This early goal set the tone for the period, as Thorengruppen continued to apply pressure. Pixbo struggled to find their rhythm, and Thorengruppen capitalized on their chances. At 11:19 Linn Larsson made it 2-0 and Maja Viström added to that at 16:26 with a nice solo performance and shot right under the upper bar.
The second period saw Pixbo attempt to mount a comeback. First Emma Heander opened the score at 20:36 and around two minutes later, Celine Stettler showed why you should not leave her alone in the middle with all that space and time. Thorengruppen responded swiftly, with Veera Kauppi scoring at 28:20, assisted by Oona Kauppi. For the 5-2 goal, the sisters just changed roles – this time Oona scored and Veera assisted.
The final period began with Thorengruppen firmly in control. Veera Kauppi scored at 40:27, assisted by Maja Viström, making it 6-2. Pixbo called a timeout at 50:07, hoping to regroup and find a way back into the match. However, Thorengruppen’s dominance was evident, and they continued to score. Jonna Stenvall added to the tally at 50:07, making it 7-2. The momentum continued to swing in Thorengruppen’s favor as Alm continued scoring and finally, Oona Kauppi sealed the match with her second goal at 51:57, bringing the final score to a resounding 9-2.
These teams meet again on Thursday 13th November at 19:00 CET in Wallenstam Arena.
1. SC VÃtkovice v Tatran StÅ™eÅ¡ovice

Venue: SH Sareza
The match began with a strong offensive display from VÃtkovice. Captain Sara Seevaldova opened the scoring at 14:51, giving Vitkovice an early lead of 1-0. The momentum continued as Vendula Berankova scored at 16:41, extending the lead to 2-0. Tatran struggled to find their footing but managed to create some opportunities. However, VÃtkovice’s defence held firm, and the first period ended with home team leading 2-0.
The second period saw VÃtkovice maintain their dominance. Lenka Cervena scored on power play at 32:28. Tatran responded with a goal from Mariana Byckova at 34:38, making it 3-1. Despite a strong effort from Tatran, VÃtkovice continued to capitalize on their chances. Berankova scored her second in the game and Daria Drzymala made it 5-1 for VÃtkovice. Linda Fuchsova brought Tatran one goal closer and that was the goal of the evening.
As the third period commenced, VÃtkovice was in control. Sophia Sabolova scored at 46:07 increasing the lead to 6-2. Tatran fought back with a goal from Dominika Tumova at 49:46, making it 6-3. In the final moments of the game, Malwina Zagorska sealed the victory for VÃtkovice with a goal at 52:53, bringing the final score to 7-3. Valerie Veverkova scored one more for Tatran but it was a game over for them. Final score 7-4 for VÃtkovice.
Second semi-final will be played on 12th November at 19:00 CET in Sportovnà centrum Řepy.
