
In today’s match against Poland, Emelie Wibron made history by becoming the all-time top points scorer in the Women’s World Floorball Championships. Previously tied with Corin Rüttimann at 98 points, Wibron has now taken the lead with a total of 99 points (58 goals and 41 assists).
The WFC 2025 marks Wibron’s eighth appearance in the tournament, having debuted with the Swedish national team in 2007. She also competed in the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships in 2008 and made her first appearance in the Women’s World Championships in 2009.
