On 6th December, the Brazilian 3v3 Floorball Championship 2025 was held in Embu das Artes, in the state of São Paulo. This was the first national competition in the 3v3 format.
The winner was decided through three round-robin stages between Hockstar Floorball from Curitiba, Paraná, Floorball Arca from São Paulo, and Paulistana, also from São Paulo.
The final was contested between the two top teams, with Hockstar emerging as champions after a 5-3 victory over Floorball Arca.
Alexsandro Neima from Hockstar was, once again, the top scorer. The number 10 forward bagged 9 goals in the competition, followed by Urias Nogueira, also from Hockstar, with 7 goals. David Ringbäck from Paulistana Floorball and Otávio Augusto from Hockstar completed the list of leading goalscorers, each with 6 goals. The best goalkeeper award went to Yago Santos from Floorball Arca.

According to João Victor, Secretary General of the Brazilian Floorball Association (ABF), the 3v3 format is considerably more strategic, involving lower logistical costs for the teams and faster-paced matches.
Rafael Pasqua, Vice President of ABF, stated that the trend in Brazilian floorball is towards more 3v3 championships taking place across the country, and that the smaller format will also support the creation of women’s-only championships.
Adriano Serafim, President of the Brazilian Floorball Association, commented that the 3v3 format could be the key for Brazil, which has been playing floorball for over 27 years, to finally launch itself onto the international floorball stage.
