Storvreta IBK are the reigning Swedish Champions and they have taken multiple victories in the Floorball Champions Cup. However, their recent performances in this tournament have not matched their past successes, with their last Champions Cup title dating back to 2020. Last year, the team faced disappointment as they failed to advance to the Champions Cup semi-finals. This season, however, Storvreta have made a triumphant return to form. In this year’s quarterfinals, Storvreta faced off against Nokian KrP, a familiar opponent. The Swedish side emerged victorious in both matches, securing their place in the semi-finals.

Currently, Storvreta IBK is leading the SSL table with 22 points, showcasing their dominance in the league. The team has achieved eight victories so far this season. Key to their success are standout players like Sakarias Ulriksson and Gabriel Kohonen, both of whom have been instrumental in the team’s scoring efforts. Ulriksson has made a significant impact with 16 goals and 8 assists, while Kohonen has contributed with 6 goals and an impressive 18 assists. Together, they have each accumulated 24 points, making them the top scorers for Storvreta this season.

Filip Langer and Ondřej Němeček are representing Storvreta, but both of them played for Tatran before. So, this match is not just a Champions Cup semi-final, it is also a reunion.

Tatran Střešovice clinched the Champions Cup title in 2024 but in the 2025 edition, their journey ended in the quarter-finals. This year, Tatran continued their strong performance in the Champions Cup, advancing to the semi-finals after defeating the Swiss team Zug United in both quarter-final matches.

In the Czech Super League, Tatran currently sit in third place with a total of 24 points. Their record reflects a commendable performance, having won 8 games and only lost 2, showcasing their competitive edge in the league. Leading the charge for Tatran is top points scorer Matěj Havlas, who has accumulated 22 points through an impressive tally of 11 goals and 11 assists. Following closely behind are Marek Beneš with 19 points and Tomáš Hanák with 18 points, both contributing significantly to the team’s overall success.

Florbal MB made a remarkable run to the final last year, only to be thwarted by the Swedish side Pixbo IBK. However, the team has returned with renewed determination this season, successfully advancing to the semi-finals where they will face a familiar opponent, IBF Falun. This matchup brings back memories of their last encounter in the 2023 Champions Cup, raising the stakes for both teams as they vie for a spot in the final.

In the Champions Cup quarter-finals, Florbal MB showcased their prowess by securing two convincing victories against HC Rychenberg, demonstrating their readiness for the challenges ahead. In addition to their international success, Florbal MB is currently dominating the Czech Super League, sitting at the top of the table with an impressive 33 points. Remarkably, they have not lost a single match this season, underscoring their strength and consistency.

A key player in their success is Adam Delong, who has emerged as a standout performer. He leads the team with 21 goals and 40 points, while also contributing significantly with 19 assists, ranking second in that category. Florbal MB has scored an astonishing 134 goals in just 11 games, a testament to their offensive capabilities.

IBF Falun has made a notable return to the Champions Cup this season after missing the 2025 edition. Their journey in the tournament has been impressive; in 2024, they reached the final but were narrowly defeated by Tatran with a score of 6-4. However, their resilience shone through in 2023 when they claimed victory against Classic, winning the final 2-1. During that tournament, Falun also faced Florbal MB, decisively beating them 6-1.

This year, IBF Falun faced a challenging quarter-final matchup against the Finnish reigning champions, Oilers. The intense contest was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout, where Falun emerged victorious, securing their place in the semi-finals.

In the SSL, Falun is currently positioned in second place on the table, just one point behind leaders Storvreta IBK. The team has demonstrated strong performance this season, winning 7 games and suffering two losses.

Key players for IBF Falun include Malte Lundmark, who has been a standout performer with 20 points, comprising 9 goals and 11 assists in the league so far. Another crucial contributor is Emil Ruud, who has accumulated 18 points through 11 goals and 7 assists. Will these players also shine bright in the Champions Cup semi-finals?
