Champions Cup 2026 continues with the Women’s semi-finals. First round is played during this week and second round in November.

Thorengruppen IBK v Pixbo IBK

Semi-final 1 – Tuesday 28th October at 18.00 CET in Nolia Arena
Semi-final 2 – Thursday 13th November at 19.00 CET in Wallenstam Arena

The Champions Cup 2026 final will not have two Swedish teams on the Women’s side and that was the result of the ballot draw earlier this month. Now the winner favourites are meeting already in the semi-final. Pixbo won double last year as both their Women’s and Men’s team took home the Champions Cup trophies. It was then when Pixbo won against Thorengruppen 3-0 in a final that was played in Nolia Arena. Now these teams meet in the same arena, this time in the semi-final stage.

Thorengruppen are leading the Swedish Super League table with 18 points after six matches. Pixbo have taken the third place on the table with 15 points. TTG have scored a total of 53 goals and conceded 17. Veera Kauppi has found a good rhythm to the new season having scored 16 goals and assisted 13 so far. Oona Kauppi is second with 15 points and Maja Viström third with 13 points. Looking at the results, Thorengruppen have got their biggest wins this season against Storvreta (12-1) and FBC Malmö (13-4). TTG also got some big news as the Czech national team goalkeeper Jana Christianova joined the team complementing the goalkeeper duo Lovisa Hedin and Stina Callerfjord.

Pixbo have so far scored 38 goals and conceded 18. Their best goal scorer has been Mira Markström with 7 goals but Thea Löfborg is leading the top points scorer list with a total of 10 points. Pixbo have won five out of six matches – they lost against Thorengruppen earlier this month 2-5.

In the Champions Cup quarterfinals Pixbo beat Classic first 6-3 and then 8-5 while Thorengruppen won both matches against TPS (10-3 & 11-5).

1. SC Vítkovice v Tatran Střešovice

Semi-final 1 – Wednesday 29th October at 19.00 CET in SH Sareza
Semi-final 2 – Wednesday 12th November at 19.00 CET in Sportovní centrum Řepy

The other semi-final is all-Czech and in addition for these teams meeting in their regular Extraliga, they will be meeting twice in the Champions Cup. Currently, Tatran Střešovice have a better placement being third in the table while Vítkovice are on the fifth place. The best points scorer from Tatran is Barbora Husková with 8 points (4+4), followed by Karolína Bláhová (3+4). Since the beginning of season in mid-September, Tatran have played five league games and won four. They lost 2-4 against Vítkovice, who they are meeting on Wednesday.

Vítkovice have played four matches in the league so far and they have been victorious. Their best points scorers have been Nela Sikorova (4+3), Sára Seevaldová (4+2), and Maja Helman (3+2), who is also known from the Polish national team.

Both teams are placed high when looking which teams have conceded least goals so far – Tatran with 10 and Vítkovice with 11 goals conceded meaning their defence has been working hard. Match-up on Wednesday will be about who can really score those goals and take the first step towards the final.
