On 15 January 2026, the transfer period for the 2025/26 season officially closed. In total, 735 transfers were approved and published during the season.
The 2025/26 season was an eventful year for transfers, with more than 700 regular transfers (712), surpassing last season’s final number. Several high-profile players made moves this year, including Finnish world champions Justus Kainulainen and Aaro Astala, as well as later in the season the history-making WFC gold medalists Doris Berger and Laila Ediz, and silver medalist Karolina Klubalova.
Visitor transfers were particularly popular in Australia, with players mainly targeting Nordic countries—especially Sweden and Finland. Student transfers followed a similar trend, with most players choosing Sweden for their education while also gaining valuable experience in Swedish floorball.
Sweden was the most involved country in this year’s transfers, with a total of 293 moves, including 150 incoming transfers. Switzerland followed in second place with 114 incoming transfers, while Czechia ranked third, with 94 players continuing their careers there.
Other countries with the highest number of transfers:
-Finland: 217 total / 88 incoming
-Germany: 131 total / 79 incoming
-Norway: 96 total / 50 incoming
