With the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2026 fast approaching we will be previewing all the groups and teams and highlighting the players to watch at the 12th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships. Latvia, Singapore, Australia and Hungary are playing in Group D.

Latvia

Reliable in 1v1s, composed under pressure and disciplined in her role. Whether it’s cutting passing lanes, winning back possession or making the right outlet play, she brings stability and confidence to the team’s defense. She also holds herself to a very high standard.

Yuanna’s technical ability truly stands out. Her ball control, creativity and confidence allow her to handle tight situations and make things happen. She brings a different dimension to our attack and what makes her even more valuable is how she uses her skill with purpose.

Consistently show fairness, sportsmanship and strong gamesmanship. She compete hard and always do it the right way. She respect opponents, officials and her teammates. Regardless of the situation or result. Even in intense moments, she stay composed and make decisions that reflect great respect for the game and opponents. Australia
“A quick, skilled and tightly connected group, many of our players have grown up playing together since they were minis — giving this team a natural chemistry on and off the court. With half the squad gaining valuable experience in Finland in 2024, the team enters this campaign with confidence, speed and an aggressive playing style. Combines finesse and speed with exceptional game sense. She stays calm under pressure, reads the play early, and makes strong decisions look effortless. A reliable backbone in our defensive structure.
Skillful Player – We have a shared top spot between #10 Katie Wright and #3 Morgan Feuerstein. Both played at the Women’s World Cup in Czechia last December and bring a high level of technical skill, work rate and leadership. They mix sharp stick skills with smart communication and a never-give-up attitude.
