The international transfer window has opened on Wednesday 1st of July 2026.

The 2026/2027 transfer period has started and the international transfer processing has faced few changes:

  1. The transfer window has been extended from its original closing date of January 15th every year to January 31st. That means that the current transfer window is now open from 1st July 2026 until 31st of January 2027.
  2. As per discussions with players and teams, there has been a big change to Student Transfers. Instead of a 60-day-transfer the new Student Transfer is now valid for 150 days and due to this increased validity and length the cost has also been increased from 55 CHF to 110 CHF.
  3. Previously temporary transfers were only valid from the 1st of May until the 31st of August. The start date of 1st of May has now been changed to after the player in question’s competition has concluded for the season (Championships, playoffs, playdowns etc) at both their previous and new side. This now allows players to temporarily play for another team as soon as the competition has concluded in their new club’s country.

The transfer list is being updated every day when there are any new transfers approved. Ordinary transfers are always approved on Mondays throughout the whole day. This list only contains transfers that have already been approved by the IFF. If you cannot see a specific transfer on the list it means that it has not yet been approved either because of the transfer form or the payment has not arrived to the IFF before Monday. If you see transfers that were approved on different days than Monday that is because the transfer was either free of charge or it was an express transfer.
